Provider Agreement

1. SCOPE

This Provider Agreement applies to any independent professional or firm ("Provider", "you") that offers services to customers through Meridian (the "Platform"). It supplements our general Terms of Service, which also apply to you.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND VERIFICATION

You must hold any license, registration, or professional qualification required to legally deliver the services you offer, in the jurisdiction where you deliver them, and provide Meridian with evidence of this on request.

  • You are, and will remain, an independent professional or firm — not an employee or agent of Meridian
  • You are solely responsible for the professional advice, work product, and outcomes you deliver
  • You will keep your licensing and qualification information current with Meridian

3. COMMISSION AND PAYOUT

Meridian charges a commission on completed requests, deducted from your payout before funds are released to you. The customer sees and agrees to a single price; our commission does not change what the customer pays. Current commission terms are disclosed to you before you accept any request.

4. SERVICE STANDARDS

You agree to:

  • Deliver services competently, accurately, and on the timeline you quote
  • Communicate with customers through the Platform so requests stay tracked
  • Disclose to Meridian and the customer anything that could delay or change the scope of a request
  • Comply with all laws and professional obligations applicable to your work

5. PAYMENTS

Customer payment is held by Meridian until the work is confirmed delivered, then released to you less commission, according to the payout schedule in effect at the time.

6. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

Meridian may suspend or remove a Provider from the Platform for failing to meet these terms, for a substantiated customer complaint, or for a lapse in required licensing — we'll tell you why when it's not obvious.

7. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Meridian is incorporated. That jurisdiction has not been finalized yet; this section will be updated once incorporation is complete.
